Mrs. Denise Arnold is a lifelong resident of Meigs County and graduated from Eastern High School. She graduated from Ohio University with an undergraduate degree in Middle Childhood education with concentrations in science and English. She has a master’s degree in Library Media Science from Kent State University and a master’s degree in School Counseling from Marshall University. Mrs. Arnold has worked at Meigs Local for twenty-four years as a teacher, library media specialist, and school counselor.

 

 

Ms. Abby Harris is a 2001 graduate from Meigs High School. She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling in 2006 from Marshall University. She continued her education at Marshall University and in 2010, she completed her Master’s Degree in School Counseling. Before joining the MHS Guidance Team in 2013, Ms. Harris worked in the school district with various grants such as the Grant to Reduce Alcohol Abuse (GRAA) and the elementary afterschool program through the 21st Century Grant. Ms. Harris also worked in Meigs County as a School Psych Assistant with the Athens-Meigs ESC. This is her twelfth school year in the MHS Guidance Department. Ms. Harris also serves as the advisor for both student council and the senior class.
